Repairs are covered by a limited warranty (typically 30–90 days, depending on the service). This covers only the parts replaced or work performed. Damage caused by misuse, liquid exposure, or subsequent tampering is not covered.

7.5 Refund Policy:
Refunds are only provided if we are unable to complete the repair. Otherwise, the service fee applies even if the issue persists due to unrelated faults or pre-existing conditions.

All completed repairs include a 90-day limited warranty covering:

​2.2 Refurbished consoles:

​

12-month hardware warranty. Excludes accidental, liquid, cosmetic damage, or third-party modifications.

3. What Is Not Covered

​​

The warranty does not cover:

​

  • New or unrelated faults that develop after repair

  • Physical or accidental damage after collection

  • Liquid damage, corrosion, or overheating

  • Software issues or account/security lockouts

  • Damage caused by third-party repair attempts

  • Devices previously repaired elsewhere that reactivate old faults

4. Warranty Assessment

​

If a device returns with a fault covered under warranty, it will be inspected and re-repaired at no additional cost. If the failure is determined to be unrelated to the original repair, standard charges may apply.

5. No Refund Policy for Completed Repairs

​

If we successfully complete a repair, no cash refund is offered. A refund is only available if we are unable to complete the repair.​

Refurbished sales have a 14-day change-of-mind return for items in original condition.

6. Abandoned Devices

​

Devices not collected within 90 days of completion notification may be securely recycled or disposed of.

By submitting a device for trade-in, you confirm that:

All devices undergo inspection before a final offer is made.
The final valuation may differ from the initial online quote if:

  • Faults or damage not declared are found

  • The model differs from the submission

  • Accessories or original parts are missing

  • The device cannot be tested due to locks or restrictions

3. Payments

​

Payment is issued once the inspection is complete and ownership is verified.
If the device fails inspection or ownership cannot be verified, the offer may be revised or declined.

4. Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Backing up their data

  • Resetting the device when possible

5. Returns of Declined Devices

We use trusted UK courier services such as Royal Mail, DPD, or Evri, depending on the value and destination of the item.
All shipments include tracking information provided via email once the parcel has been dispatched.

3. Processing Time

  • Refurbished console orders: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Repair returns: Devices are shipped back within 1 business day after repair completion and successful testing.

  • Buyback/trade-in returns: Devices rejected or declined during inspection are usually dispatched within 2–3 business days after confirmation from the customer.

Processing times exclude weekends and UK public holidays.

4. Delivery Times

Typical delivery estimates within the United Kingdom:

  • Standard shipping: 2–4 business days

  • Express shipping (if available): 1–2 business days

Delivery timeframes may vary depending on courier performance, weather, or other unforeseen delays.

5. Shipping Fees

  • Refurbished product orders: Delivery costs are displayed at checkout and may vary by weight or location.

  • Repair returns: Return shipping is included in the repair fee unless the device is unreparable, then the postage cost is covered by the customer

  • Buyback/trade-in returns: If a customer declines an offer, they may be responsible for the return postage fee.

Free shipping may be offered during promotions or for certain refurbished product orders.

6. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at contact@moniko-tech.com.
We will work with the courier to investigate and, where applicable, provide a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with your order type and warranty coverage.

Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be submitted within 7 days of the recorded delivery date.

  • Retaining proof of shipment when sending devices to us for repair or buyback

  • Packaging devices securely to avoid transit damage (we recommend using original packaging or suitable padded boxes)

Moniko-Tech Ltd is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging or incorrect address information provided by the customer.

8. International Shipping

At this time, Moniko-Tech Ltd ships within the United Kingdom only.
We do not currently offer international sales, collections, or deliveries.

All orders and returns include a tracking number sent via email once shipped.

There are three easy ways to send your items via Royal Mail: FREE Delivery, Special Delivery or drop off at our repair centre! Here's how it works:

  1. We'll email a Pack & Send Guide containing everything you need, including a QR code and shipping label.

  2. Take your items to your nearest Post Office using the QR code for FREE Delivery or the shipping label for Special Delivery*

  3. Royal Mail Standard Delivery - FREE
    Your order will be insured up to £150 during transit.

  4. Royal Mail Special Delivery - From £7.65
    Your order is insured above the £150 cap during transit.

  5. We'll pay you the day your items arrive. It's that easy!

*Special delivery is an extra charge payable at the Post Office, which gives you a higher insurance value than FREE Delivery. Please use the label provided and ask for Special Delivery at the Post Office. Keep the send receipt given to you as proof of postage; this also will contain your tracking number.
